About Texere Tribe

Texere Tribe began when we, at Texere Yarns, decided we would like to offer creative workshops, textile courses, taster sessions, special open days and maybe a knitting group within our mill.

We created Texere Tribe as a separate website so you could find a course quickly and easily with all the information you need (although you will be directed to the Texere website for payment). We felt that we could use some of our space to make a workroom and workshop space, so in Autumn 2009 shelves were dismantled, doors knocked through walls, sinks installed and what was our catalogue making room became our lovely workroom with adjoing kitchen area.

Our courses and workshops have begun slowly and steadily as more of our current customers and new visitors learn about what is going on in that room in the warehouse! We would love you to join us to build your skills and become part of the Texere Tribe!

Texere Yarns has been established for over 35 years. We have been selling yarns, threads and fibres for all types of textile crafts to students, designers and hobbyists – from our mill shop in Bradford, mail order and in recent years online.
