COLOUR TECHNIQUES
Stash Busting with Intarsia, Fairisle & Clever Colourwork – learn the tricks of intarsia knitting and discover how effective it is at using up your stash! You will learn the basic techniques of knitting with two or more yarns at once, without making holes or getting into a tangled mess! We shall look at blending yarns of different colour, thickness and texture to achieve various different effects from gentle gradients to sharp contrasts. This is a great way to use up all those leftovers in your wool stash! The charts are simple and the knitting is basic.
£27 (includes some yarn and a full instruction booklet).
Knitting techniques
Please bring any sized balls of yarn (in any thickness or texture) from your stash that you would like to use up (and are happy to share) and a pair of 4mm or 5mm straight or circular needles.
You’ll come away with lots of ideas, new skills and some knitted samples.
