LEARN TO KNIT FOR FREE WITH TEXERE’S KNITTING GROUP – (MORE DATES TO BE ANNOUNCED FOR 2012 – PLEASE CHECK BACK SOON)

If you want to learn the basics of knitting why not come along to one of our “drop-in” sessions on all of the Saturdays when we are hosting workshops? Members of our knitting group will be on hand to get you started with this brilliant craft.
You don’t need to bring anything as we have plenty of yarn and needles and you can come along to as many sessions as you like until you have the confidence to buy your own yarn and get knitting!
Learn how to cast on, knit, purl and cast off and if you progress quickly we can teach you more advanced techniques too. We can also give you advice on yarn and needle selection and good patterns and books for beginners.
There really is no excuse, so pop along and head towards the sofa area!
If you have any yarn or needles at home that you would like to use then please bring them along.
