FELTED CORSAGES & NEEDLEFELTING WITH CLARE ALDERSON

Create a gorgeous felted corsage, using one of three different techniques. We will combine silk with our wool fibres to create lustrous, luxurious flowers that can be worn as brooches or used to decorate bags, hats or headbands. Clare will then give you an introduction to needlefelting where you will add intricate, delicate details to your corsage with the needle. Once you have learnt this technique you can needlefelt your own felt, “draw” with the needle on bought felt and create 3D pieces.

If you have any scraps of any wool, silk or natural fibres that you would like to incorporate into your felt, please bring them along.
You’ll come away with new skills, a finished piece and maybe a second if there’s time!
